A blog dedicated to the travels and photos of M Lucky Moose. My mom's stuffed animal who has
been liberated from the comforts of her home and is now on his way to travel the world.
A trip that could take at least a year....

Prepation for a long journey...

M Lucky will be starting his journey from San Jose, CA. and here are some photos of some places around town you may recognize.  M Lucky isn't very large so you will need to look carefully for him in some photos.

Though he is 18" long, his big awkward snout is, well, big and awkward so holding him close to the lens may obscure the thing you're trying to photograph.
I would be remiss not to include the San Jose Sharks. I would have included the HP Pavilion (the Tank) but my kids were running out of enthusiasm for this project and we opted for a one of these well known signs instead.

San Jose State University, my Alma Mater and now where I teach animation.
Speaking if teaching animation, here is M. Lucky in front of the world renown Shrunkenhead Man flag, a symbol of Animation/Illustration's animation, illustration, concept design, modeling and all things vis dev club.
No stay in San Jose would be complete without a tour through the Winchester Mystery House.

Get ready M. Lucky, you are on your way.  Where will he end up next?

BTW, note the above postcard sent to me from my dad, he may be on to us.  Have to get the moose out of state...

Count down begins.

Here is the first post in what hopefully will be a long series that will chronicle M Lucky's progress.  I am receiving the cooperation of many who are interested in helping the moose keep moving.  I need to schedule dates, times and announcements for arrivals and departures as well as get a sturdy box. So far, it looks like M Lucky will be heading of to Westbank BC, Rio, Halfway OR, NY, New Mexico and lots of other places. I'm excited and he is too. Quietly excited. As quietly excited as a stuffed animal can be about being stuffed in a box and mailed. Stay tuned for more updates. Oh and internet, keep this quiet-it's a surprise for my mom.
